    As a ministry, we praise God for every opportunity to serve summer campers and retreat guests. The COVID-19 pandemic has been a reminder of how truly grateful we are for each of you.     A Word from our Executive Director A painted ceramic tile made by our son, Thad, when he was in the 3rd grade has become the centerpiece of the fall decorations in our home. Thad is now 14 years old and in the 8th grade, but his tile (pictured) is a timeless treasure to us. Thad painted this fall scene and listed that he was thankful for God, Jesus, CWS, CWR, family, sports, and even Batman!   • A Camp Need and a Request for Support

    Hello Camp Family: Thank you for your support of this ministry through the years by attending summer camp or a retreat, serving on summer staff, or giving financially. This year has been unlike any year we have ever experienced both in our personal lives and in the life of camp. The COVID-19 pandemic has substantially impacted camp and we want to share our need with you. This year, we will have a budget shortfall as our operating revenues will be down 62%.   • Linda Harris, Co-Founder & Executive Director, Retires

    Linda Harris will be retiring from the role of Executive Director of Youth Camps For Christ, Inc. (YCFC) on December 31, 2019. She is Co-Founder of YCFC, which owns and operates Camp Willow Run (CWR) established in 1968 and Camp Willow Springs (CWS) established in 2014. Linda has worked with the organization for 51 years and has served in many roles including Camp Director and Executive Director. Linda has seen this ministry grow from serving 54 day campers in the summer of 1968 to serving 3,000 overnight campers between both CWS & CWR in summer 2019. Linda’s faith, love, commitment, and dedication are evident. She has committed her life’s work…

  • Register for the Father/Son Retreat!

    REGISTER HERE Registration is now open for the 5th Annual Camp Willow Springs Father/Son Retreat on September 27-29, 2019!  This retreat is for dads and sons in grades 1-6.  The cost of the retreat is $230 for father and one son.  Each additional son is $110.  The weekend includes times of family worship, delicious meals, the Father/Son Olympics, and fun recreation including the red shark, jumping pillow, octoball, swimming pool, archery, canoeing, and much more!  Please contact our office at 252.586.0728 or info@campwillowsprings.org for more information.
